| So xanga sort of died for me lately, as did myspace, and amazingly the only thing I kept up with was Facebook. This just goes to show what college does to you.
In the past few weeks, I made the staff of the Daily Texan. So many talented people on staff! It really makes me want to work harder and harder. I think I'm dying. Three jobs. I'm insane. But it's good to always push yourself and be ambitious. I just hope I don't die.
My grades thus far have been decent, EXCEPT FOR BIOLOGY. SCREW YOU BIOLOGY! I have a midtern next Thursday. What the fuck?
School is blurring by. I want to stop and relax.

| Free pens and t-shirts, long walks to class, and endless waits for elevators at Dobie can sum up the first few days of my life at UT. An inaccurate calculation, but still is enough to say that I am adjusting well enough, and am liking the place so far.
The weekend after moving in, we went to a couple campus events that were surprisingly entertaining. I'm still not used to seeing so much school pride as I've come from Kerr, which in itself, should be self explanatory.
The biggest difference of the transition from high school to college is not the way classes are set up or the way professors teach here or that my largest class is nearly 300 people (since Kerr was messed up enough to prepare me for any type of class), but the fact that I actually like (almost) all of my classes.
Creativity and American Culture: my professor is from Israel or Islam.... um, my memory is too horrible to recall, but eitherway, he has a great sense of humor and a thick accent. Basically he said that this class was going to be more abou creativity and that we are going to teach him about American culture.
Biology - Molecules to Organisms seems to be my only boring class. Professor-wise, that is.
Intro to Math: seems pretty decent, but only because our professor is a foreign lady with a thick accent that gave us those "thinking" math problems that are all tricky and shit and make you think and say "ohhhhhh!" when someone explains the answer. I think I like foreign teachers.
Asian American Literature and Culture is surprisingly entertaining due to our professor. He seems like one of those people who you know played Starcraft and he says things like "I'm gaving a nerdgasm" so, quite the uh, interesting specimen. I think I'll enjoy that class. He's extremely sarcastic and we were discussing things like what is "Asian American" and white-washed asians (or "twinkies") and the like.
Photographic Communications is just a basic photo class. The class requirement SAID you needed a 35mm camera, so I borrowed my boss' Nikon F3, only to find out during the first day of class our professor said that we could use digital. HOWEVER, I still want to learn film no matter what, just because as part of photography, it's good to have that background. So I'm going to go to do both. After class I talked to the TA's a little bit and they seem pretty cool.
AND THUS CONCLUDES MY SUMMARY OF COLLEGE LIFE THUS FAR. | | |
| I will soon be the proud owner of a LG KG800 Chocolate phone!
It was difficult deciding between it and the Samsung E900, who, similarly, has the same seamless interface design along with heat/touch sensitive controls, however, the LG wins in the looks department and thus I chose it. Although the Samsung beats the LG in every technical aspect, I don't actually use my phone for much more than calling people. I rarely text, I have an iPOD, and um, I am more than adequate in the camera department to need anything beyond small snapshots I might occasionally take and post on the web. Thus, the LG is enough to suit my needs and wins my heart with it's beautiful design. And with that, I present to you my future lover:
